    The Sound of Music at the Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center

    Event Dates: Multiple dates now through September 19, 2021

    City Springs Theatre Company presents Rodgers & Hammerstein’s “The Sound of Music”. This classic musical features beloved songs, including “Climb Ev’ry Mountain,” “My Favorite Things,” “Do Re Mi,” “Sixteen Going on Seventeen”, and the title number, “The Sound of Music”.

    Mother Goose at the Center For Puppetry Arts

    Event Dates: Weekends now through September 26, 2021

    Mother Goose is missing and you can help find her with some assistance from your favorite nursery rhyme characters. Familiar stories will engage children in a creative experience that supports learning and social development as the clap and sing along and look for clues to Mother Goose’s whereabouts. Performances take place on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

    HAMILTON at the Fox Theatre

    The Broadway sensation “HAMILTON” is coming to the Fox Theatre. The story of America’s founding father, Alexander Hamilton, features a score blending hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, R&B, and Broadway. The show has won Tony® Awards, Grammy® Awards, Olivier Awards, the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, and a special citation from the Kennedy Center Honors.

    Scandal: Sealab! at Dad’s Garage Theatre Company

    The epic soap opera at Dad’s Garage Theatre Company returns, this time 20,000 leagues under the sea. A little underwater research facility is filled with scandal in this improve show where the characters and story continue week to week. Shows take place every Friday night at 8 p.m. and run for approximately 75 minutes.

    Darlin’ Cory at the Alliance Theatre

    Event Dates: September 8, 2021 through October 3, 2021

    Set against the backdrop of 1920s Appalachia, “Darlin Cory” is a new musical about a tiny mountain town with no road in or out and a whole lot of secrets. This modern-day myth inspired by local lore is complete with an original folk-country score.
