    Official Atlanta Pride Kickoff Party at Georgia Aquarium

    Event Date: October 8, 2021 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

    Celebrate Atlanta Pride with the return of this award-winning event. Explore the aquarium, enjoy music and jaw-dropping décor, connect with friends, and kick off the weekend festivities. There will be a variety of music from different DJs throughout the different areas of the aquarium.

    One Musicfest

    Event Dates: October 9, 2021 through October 10, 2021

    This two-day urban progressive music festival will feature performances by H.E.R., Lil Wayne, The Isley Brothers, Burna Boy, Ari Lennox, Ty Dolla $ign, and dozens more.

    ELEVATE 2021: Reopen, Reignite & Reconnect

    Event Dates: now through October 13, 2021

    This year’s ELEVATE Atlanta Art festival will help activate communities throughout the city with art and cultural activities designed to promote the process of moving forward past the COVID-19 pandemic. The festival includes partnerships with art galleries, museums, theaters, performance venues, restaurants, bars, shops, colleges, parks, and libraries.

    Gather ‘Round: A Southern Food & Arts Celebration

    Event Dates: October 14, 2021 through October 17, 2021

    Epicurean Atlanta presents a unique four-day culinary weekend where you’ll get the chance to get up close with their favorite chefs, beverage experts, artists, makers, and entertainers. There will be collaboration dinners and master classes at the Epicurean Theatre.

    Little 5 Points Halloween Monsterfest

    Event Dates: October 15, 2021 through October 17, 2021

    During this year’s Little 5 Points Halloween Monsterfest, you can search the neighborhood for monsters designed by local artists using a map from the L5P Business Association tent. Collect selfies and complete the hunt for a chance to win a prize. There will also be special ghoul appearances throughout the neighborhood. And in the weeks leading up to the festival, keep an eye out for the L5P Cocktail Parade, Ghost Tours, Halloween Photo Contest, and a Monster Ball.

    Stone Mountain Highland Games

    Event Dates: October 16, 2021 through October 17, 2021

    This event, which has taken place at Stone Mountain Park since 1972, invites thousands of Scots from around their world to don their family tartans and gather for a day of traditional Scottish events. There will be Highland Athletic events, Highland Dancing, Piping and Drumming, Scottish Harping, Scottish Country Dancing demonstrations, Kirking of the Tartans, and a Parade of Tartans.

    Shaky Knees Music Festival

    Event Dates: October 22, 2021 through October 24, 2021

    This year’s Shaky Knees Music Festival features over 60 bands with a diverse lineup ranging from world-renowned acts to up-and-coming artists. Headliners include Foo Fighters, Run The Jewels, The Strokes, St. Vincent, Mac Demarco, Alice Cooper, Portugal. The Man, Modest Mouse, and Pheobe Bridgers.

    A3C Festival & Conference

    Event Dates: October 22, 2021 through October 24, 2021

    This music, tech, film, and culture festival is celebrating its 17th anniversary. What started as a local hip-hop showcase has become one of the most important cultural events of the year. This festival and conference connects, educates, and inspires the next generation in the music, tech, and film industry.

    Atlanta Chili Cookoff

    Event Date: October 23, 2021 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

    You can compete or come just to eat at this hot event. Taste chili from more than 75 restaurants, caterers, and amateur and junior competition teams. This family-friendly event is in its 8th year at a new location at Brook Run Park in Dunwoody. There will be live music, alcoholic beverages, and a portion of proceeds benefiting the Atlanta Fundraising Foundation.

    First-ever FANTAstic Halloween at World of Coke

    Event Dates: now through October 31, 2021

    The World of Coca-Cola is holding its first-ever, family-friendly Halloween takeover. All month long, with special activations on Saturdays and Sundays, there will be a scavenger hunt to unearth and sample a new Fanta flavor, photo ops with beastly backdrops, ghostly performances, and more. Come wearing your best family-friendly costume and look out for festive features among the museum’s regular exhibits.

    Pumpkin Festival at Stone Mountain Park

    Event Dates: now through October 31, 2021

    Stone Mountain Park’s family-friendly Pumpkin Festival allows you and the kids to “Play By Day” and “Glow By Night”. During the day, you can visit the park’s family-friendly attractions with special fall entertainment featuring classic storybook characters. At night, the park is lit up with the new Nighttime Parade and not-so-spooky glowing experiences.
