    “Antarctic Dinosaurs” opening at Fernbank Museum

    Event Date: October 9, 2021 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

    Celebrate the opening of this new exhibit and the museum’s newest giant screen movie, Dinosaurs of Antarctica. The day will be filled with dino talks with paleontologists, a new photo-op, and cool activities.

    The Ghastly Dreadfuls

    Enjoy creepy stories, songs, and dances from around the world. Your favorite band of specters is back from the grave and back on stage at the Center For Puppetry Arts to tell classic stories like “The Girl in the New Dress” and “The Horrific Experiment.”

    Enjoy this puppet play at the Center For Puppetry Arts featuring 15 hand-crafted mouth and rod puppets and an 8-foot paper-mache pirate ship.

    Great Pumpkin-Carving Fest

    Event Date: October 28, 2021 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

    Compete in the Great Pumpkin-Carving Contest at the Atlanta Botanical Garden. Teams of two amateur carvers will have three hours to carve a pumpkin while guests look on. Want to just watch? There will be live music and fall fun for all ages during this festival.

    Monster Mash

    Event Date: October 30, 2021 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

    Put on your best costume and celebrate this Monster Mash at the Center For Puppetry Arts. The atrium will be transformed with friendly goblins, skeletons, jack-o-lanterns, and more festive characters in a special exhibition.

    WILD: A Safari Experience at Illuminarium Atlanta

    WILD: A Safari Experience at Illuminarium Atlanta transports you to the African safari.     Chuck E. Cheese Halloween Boo-tacular
