ISP CONDUCTING ‘NITE’ PATROLS IN AREA COUNTIES
(EFFINGHAM) The Illinois State Police Troop 9 has announced that it will conduct Special Nighttime Enforcement (NITE) Patrols the rest of this month in Richland, Wayne, Marion, & Fayette Counties. The NITE Patrols allow the ISP to focus on preventing, detecting, and taking enforcement action in response to impaired driving & occupant restraint violations, especially between the hours of 9:00 at night and 6:00 in the morning. Troop 9, based in Effingham, will be conducting other patrols in area counties for the rest of August as well.
