Rare Fungus That Kills Tens of thousand Of Trees Now In New York
A fungus that was first found in Wisconsin is now threatening trees in New York State. The New York State DEC wants New Yorkers to check on oak trees. "Be on the lookout for oak wilt throughout NYS! Joining Contact in September 2013, she has played a significant role in supporting the operational and financial aspects of several key programs including 988, 211, Crisis Connect, and 911 co-location. She is a certified instructor in mental health and suicide prevention programs. A Syracuse University alumna, she is currently pursuing a master’s degree in public health at Eastern Washington University.
