FLORENCE COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — A 32-year-old Pamplico man allegedly forced a disabled woman to stay in her motel room and threatened her if she tried to leave, according to Florence County authorities.

Artkyeam Sherman Moore was arrested on Monday and charged with kidnapping and grand larceny. He is being held without bond after being booked into the Florence County Detention Center.

The alleged incident happened on or about July 15, according to deputies, who said Moore also stole about $2,200 worth of personal items from the woman, including a cellphone.
