    After buying Panama City homebuilder in December, Fischer Homes has 20 under construction

    PANAMA CITY — Months after moving to Northwest Florida, Fischer Homes already has homes for sale within the Bay County community.

    Fischer Homes is the nation’s 30th largest home-builder.

    According to a press release by Fischer Homes, Fischer Homes is now selling new single-family homes from the mid-$400s to $700s in the Breakfast Point East Community, a short drive to Panama City Beach.

    More than 20 homes are under construction, priced from the $450’s to the $750’s.

    In December, Fischer Homes entered the Northwest Florida market through the acquisition of Samuel Taylor homes of Panama City.

    Samuel Taylor Homes, founded by Matt Brandman and Hunter Collins, has built more than 800 homes in the Northwest Florida area. Brandman now serves as market president of the new Florida Gulf Coast East Division for Fischer Homes.

    “Fischer Homes is also announcing that it will soon be offering its Paired Patio Home Collection in Watersound Origins Community,” the release reads. “This is a new master-planned community close to desirableRosemary Beach. Like Breakfast Point East, it is also developed by The St. Joe Company based in Northwest Florida.“
