The South Shore doesn't slow down after Labor Day . If anything, the change in seasons ushers in the beginning of numerous fall events from now through Halloween.
Early September allows for outdoor events to continue with a little less sweat and maybe more sweaters. King Richard's Faire , Hull's Endless Summer Waterfront Festival , the Marshfield Community Rib Cook-off and the Plymouth Lions Club's Thirsty Pilgrim fundraiser provide ample reason to hang outside just a little bit longer.
Inside entertainment continues all year of course. and this weekend is no exception. With that in mind, head on over to The C Note in Hull Saturday night to watch Sister Luck perform the songs of the Black Crowes in a beachfront setting.
It's time to gather up your appetite, your finest medieval fashion and some modern shoes to dance in for all the eclectic activities on tap this weekend.

The outdoor pageantry of King Richard’s Faire is back again. The event offers something for all ages, from performances and shopping to food and drink to games and rides.
In addition to being open on weekends, the fair is also open Columbus Day/Indigenous Peoples' Day.
Hull's Endless Summer Waterfront Festival

Everyone is invited to enjoy a wide assortment of offerings while enjoying the festival and all Hull has to offer during the annual event sponsored by the Hull Chamber of Commerce that features food, local vendors and businesses' and live music.
Plymouth Lions host weekend-long Thirsty Pilgrim fundraiser on Hedge House lawn
When: Noon to 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7; Noon to 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 8.

The Plymouth Lions Club's annual event features Bavarian music, food and enough beer to quench any thirst.
Admission for adults over 21 includes 3 beer samples, and all adult beverages may be purchased with $7 Thirsty Pilgrim chips that will be available throughout the venue. Thirsty Pilgrim Brats will be among the event's many food choices.
There will also be face painting, contests and games for the kids.
All money raised from the event will be donated to local food pantries, soup kitchens and a “snack pack” program for local students.
Marshfield Community Rib Cook-off featuring Divas with a Twist
When: Saturday, Sept. 7, Noon to 5 p.m.; Divas with a Twist perform 5-7 p.m.
Where: Marshfield Fairgrounds, 140 Main St., Marshfield
Tickets/admission: $7 in advance, $10 at the gate. Divas concert tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the gate

The Marshfield Community Rib Cook-off raises money for a number of local organizations. The event features live music and ribs, ribs and more ribs.
Awards will be given out in several categories, including a People's Choice award that will be announced a week after the cook-off.
An after-hours concert featuring Divas with a Twist takes place from 5-7 p.m., The cook-off wrist bands do not cover the concert, tickets for which are also on sale.
Black Crowes tribute band Sister Luck at The C Note in Hull
