IdeaTek expands to Ark City
ARKANSAS CITY, Kansas — Super-fast fiber internet service will soon be available to hundreds of Arkansas City families and businesses, thanks to IdeaTek. The Buhler-based internet company will begin construction in August. By fall, IdeaTek will begin delivering unlimited and uncapped speeds of up to 2.5 gigabits per second to the city’s first few neighborhoods. IdeaTek's 100-percent fiber investment of nearly $6 million will connect over 6,100 homes and businesses to fiber.
Father arrested for murder after 10-month-old found unresponsive in Oklahoma City
A father is facing first-degree murder and child abuse after a 10-month-old was found unresponsive. Oklahoma City Police conducted a welfare check call on an apartment complex near Northwest 16th and North Meridian Avenue around 6:45 p.m. on Monday, July 15.
