Owl trapped in manure lagoon is rescued
ERIE COUNTY, N.Y. — A baby screech owl was rescued earlier this week in Cheektowaga after it left its home before it was ready. Now comes another owl rescue, which also happened in Erie County. An owl that was trapped in a manure lagoon was rescued with help from the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation and Messinger Woods Wildlife Care and Education Center.

West Seneca Police Department looking for missing 22-year-old man
WEST SENECA, N.Y. — The West Seneca Police Detective Bureau announced on Facebook that they are seeking assistance in locating a missing 22-year-old man from West Seneca. The man, Samuel Stoddard, left his home on the 1300 block of Union Road at approximately 5:00 p.m. on Friday, July 19, according to the police department.
