Notorious north-east man had toddler murder video among video collection on phone with details 'too disturbing to report'

A Scottish man being known as a "notorious north-east paedophile" had a collection of sick videos on his phone , including one that depicted the apparent murder of a child.

It is believed that Jordan Gall, a 29-year-old man, had disgusting footage on his phone . This includes the horrific rape and abuse of newborn babies and toddlers, an Aberdeen Sheriff Court was told.

He also had footage showing the apparent killing of a three-year-old boy on a device belonging to him from between March 15 and August 18 2022.

A court reporter for PressandJournal.co.uk said that one video on his device "was the most upsetting account of child abuse she had heard in her career", with the details being described as too disturbing to report.

Gall and his lawyer claimed that the 29-year-old was sent a large file of these disgusting videos, and that he was unaware that one of them contained the murder of a child.

According to PressandJournal, his lawyer Chris Maitland added: “The murder of a child and physical assault was not being sought out. The possession is accepted, but it was not what he was looking for. He had no control about what was sent to him.”

He will appear in court again in one month - on 18 July.
