Pensacola will celebrate America’s Independence Day with fireworks displays over the Santa Rosa Sound at Pensacola Beach and over Pensacola Bay in downtown Pensacola.

Santa Rosa County will hold separate celebrations in Milton and Navarre Beach. Here’s how you can celebrate.

Pensacola Beach Chamber of Commerce's Fourth of July Fireworks

    • When: 9 p.m. on July 4
    • Where: Pensacola Beach Boardwalk

This year, the Pensacola Beach Chamber of Commerce will host its annual July 4th fireworks display in tandem with the downtown Pensacola show. Both events will happen simultaneously at 9 p.m., though the distance between the shows will make it difficult to watch them both at the same time.

The show will start off with the National Anthem, followed by patriotic music broadcast live on Cat Country 98.7. The fireworks will be launched over the Santa Rosa Sound, and the Pensacola Beach Boardwalk will be the best place to watch.

    Downtown Pensacola’s 4th of July

    • When: 9 p.m. on July 4
    • Where: Downtown Pensacola

The area’s largest July 4th celebration will be held in Downtown Pensacola, where you can catch the fireworks display over Pensacola Bay and enjoy a free symphony concert at the amphitheater behind the Vince Whibbs Sr. Community Maritime Park.

The symphony will start at 7:30 p.m., and the fireworks will launch at 9 p.m. to coincide with the Pensacola Beach celebration. The symphony performance will be broadcast live on NewsRadio 92.3/AM1620, and the synchronized fireworks music will be cast on Cat Country 98.7.

Parking is available throughout downtown Pensacola, and you’re invited to set up chairs and tents along Bayfront Parkway, which will be closed to traffic from Intendencia to Chase Street. Food trucks and portable bathrooms will be on site at Bartram Park and the Veteran’s Memorial Park.

Hometown Fourth of July celebration and children's parade on Navarre Beach

    • When: 6-9 p.m. on July 4
    • Where: 8220 Gulf Blvd. in Navarre Beach

The Navarre Chamber is hosting a July 4th celebration ahead of the fireworks display on Navarre Beach. Bring your family and friends and celebrate with a hot dog eating contest, food and drink specials and live music. Kids up to 12 years old can participate in a children’s parade. Registration is $5 per family and the parade begins at 5 p.m. Children may dress up and use bicycles, wagons, strollers, small battery motorized play vehicles, or walk.

Navarre Beach Fourth of July Fireworks

    • When: 9 p.m. on July 4
    • Where: Navarre Beach

Join Navarre Beach for the Fourth of July celebration at the east end of the Navarre Beach Marin Park. Fireworks start at 9 p.m.

    July Fourth Riverfest

    • When: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on July 4
    • Where: Milton Riverwalk

The Santa Rosa County Chamber of Commerce will host its annual Riverfest celebration along the Milton Riverwalk. You can catch the 23rd annual Firecracker Bike Show between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m., the Car Show between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. and The Great Mill Town Duck Race at 5 p.m. There will be concession and retail vendors throughout the day. The fireworks display will begin when it gets dark, around 8 p.m.
