Peoria Heights cafe will open unique second location in Downtown Peoria

Cafe Santa Rosa will open a second location, adding a Downtown Peoria spot to its existing store in Peoria Heights, the business announced Thursday.

The second Cafe Santa Rosa will hold a grand opening event Tuesday, July 30, for the new store inside Distillery Labs at 201 SW Adams Street, Peoria. The new location joins the coffee shop’s original location at 1327 E. Kelly Ave., Peoria Heights.

Café Santa Rosa co-owners Heber and Marta Vidal said a second location within Distillery Labs aligns with their commitment to revitalizing downtown Peoria and supporting the mission of Distillery Labs — a business incubator focused on promoting the growth of start-up businesses in the greater Peoria area.

"We believe that the biggest help to small businesses is other small businesses," said Heber Vidal. "By joining forces with Distillery Labs, we hope to create a vibrant community hub that fosters collaboration and innovation."

The Downtown location will feature a classic theme with comfortable seating, dedicated workspaces, an environment designed for both relaxation and productivity, and coffee sourced directly from the Vidal family farm in southern Columbia.

"We are thrilled to bring our coffee and our vision to downtown Peoria," said Marta Vidal. "Our farm-to-cup coffee is not just a product; it's a story of dedication and quality that we are proud to share with our community."
