Sheriff investigating death of Kansas teen in crash near lake
DOUGLAS COUNTY—A Kansas teen died in an accident near Clinton Lake in Douglas County. The victim of the crash has been identified as 17-year-old Brody Minton of Lawrence, according to a media release from the Douglas County Sheriff. Family members reported him missing on Monday and law enforcement had attempted to find him. TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - A Topeka man was arrested in connection to an aggravated burglary and stalking incident in southwest Topeka, Kan. Kansas Highway Patrol indicated in their crash logs that around 3:33 p.m. on Wednesday, July 17, a 2017 Western Star Semi was taking the curve to enter westbound I-470 when the left side tires went off the highway and the driver overcorrected and overturned.
