TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - A Washburn University accounting student has received a $15,000 national scholarship. According to Washburn University officials, accounting student and Topeka native Kelsey Gorman earned a $15,000 scholarship from the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB). The PCAOB Scholars Program seeks to benefit students who are likely to become auditors and to make a difference to students who might otherwise choose a different career path.
