Kansas football quarterback Jalon Daniels reflects on recent wins against Oklahoma, Texas
LAWRENCE — Jalon Daniels spent a lot of time last week talking about how healthy he is during Big 12 Conference media days in Las Vegas. Daniels, Kansas football’s redshirt junior quarterback, is coming off a 2023 season where he missed most of the year due to injury. He’s coming off a 2022 season in which he missed some time, too. He can help the Jayhawks compete for a Big 12 title in 2024, so long as he is able to remain available.
County commission forum shows differences

Lawrence Transit route, schedule changes planned to go into effect Aug. 1
After hearing feedback from riders, Lawrence Transit is planning some route and schedule changes that will go into effect Thursday, Aug. 1. Transit staff members implemented some changes after the Central Station opened and a full route redesign went into effect in January.
