El Pollo Rico Headed to Pflugerville

Pflugerville will soon be home to a new El Pollo Rico, according to recent public records. Construction of its newest 5,970 square foot space in Pflugerville, Texas is expected to wrap up around February of 2025.

Construction is to be completed and the new El Pollo Rico is expected to open in late 2025. The address for this location is 1304 FM 685 Pflugerville, TX 78718.

El Pollo Rico claims to have “the best charcoal-grilled chicken in town! It’s the star of the menu, it’s juicy, charcoal-grilled, hot, fresh, and fast. It is served with fluffy rice, savory beans, and a spicy green salsa.

Diners can enjoy starters like chips and queso, guacamole, or chips and salsa, meals that include charcoal-grilled chicken meals, flautas, quesadillas, tacos, burritos, and burgers, and desserts like flan, churros, and tres leches.

While diners wait for the Pflugerville location to open, they can sample the menu at more than 15 other El Pollo Rico currently in operation across the Austin area.
