C.J. Garnder-Johnson is fed up with being disrespected by Madden.

The Philadelphia Eagles safety took to social media to express how he felt after Madden 25 released their top 10 safeties in the video game.

"I'll boycott Madden at this point!!!" Gardner-Johnson wrote on Twitter/x about Madden's safety rankings.

    Madden 25 Safety Rankings

    1. Jessie Bates III , Atlanta Falcons: 97
    2. Antoine Winfield Jr ., Tampa Bay Buccaneers: 94
    3. Minkah Fitzpatrick , Pittsburgh Steelers: 93
    4. Derwin James Jr ., Los Angeles Chargers: 91
    5. Tyrann Mathieu , New Orleans Saints: 91
    6. Budda Baker , Arizona Cardinals: 90
    7. Kevin Byard III , Chicago Bears: 89
    8. Kyle Hamilton , Baltimore Ravens: 89
    9. Talanoa Hufanga , San Francisco 49ers: 88
    10. Jevon Holland , Miami Dolphins: 88

Gardner-Johnson didn't stop there, calling out former Eagles safety Kevin Byard in his next post:

"Got replaced by #5 (see where they at), #7 couldn’t live up to the hype (last year was evidence)! The rest, I got way more ball production sooooooo WHEN MADDEN DROPPING!?"

Although uncalled-for, Gardner-Johnson does make a valid point about Byard, who the Eagles traded the Tennessee Titans for during the 2023 season and he did not produce like many expected he would.

Byard only intercepted one pass last season, which was tied for his lowest total since 2020. And his three passes defensed were another career-low for him.

As for Gardner-Johnson, he only played three games with the Detroit Lions last fall before he was injured, but still managed to match Byard's production, recording 17 total tackles, three passes defended, and one interception.

We'll see if CJGJ can live up to all of the talk this season now that he's healthy and has a chance to star in Philly's secondary again.

But one can agree with him, at least for now, that Madden 25 messed up by leaving him out of the top 10.
