The Indiana Fever's highly-anticipated matchup against the Phoenix Mercury lived up to the hype. With Fever rookie superstar Caitlin Clark facing off against legendary veteran Diana Taurasi for the first time, the game earned a primetime TV slot on ESPN.

While the Fever were down 15 points at one point, they came roaring back to defeat the Mercury 88-82. Clark scored 15 points with 9 rebounds, and 12 assists, just one stat short of a triple-double.

After the game, Clark did not address the media, which was highly unusual. However, Fever head coach Christie Sides told reporters that she wasn't feeling well and was spending time with the trainer.

"She wasn't feeling well the entire game," Sides said, which immediately raised some eyebrows. The team reported that Clark was suffering from a migraine, per the Indy Star's Chloe Peterson .

Clark, who famously never missed a game during her four-year career at Iowa, suffered with migraines throughout her entire collegiate career. While most people can barely function with migraine, Clark powered through.

Considering how well she played, learning that she wasn't at full health was a huge surprise. One fan posted , "I’m incapacitated when I get migraines. Meanwhile, Caitlin nearly gets a triple double. She might be superhuman."

Another person responded , "Migraines are tough, tons of respect that she can play through them." Hopefully, Clark can get some much-needed rest and heal up before facing the Las Vegas Aces on July 2.
