On Friday afternoon, rookies Caitlin Clark of the Indiana Fever and Angel Reese of the Chicago Sky participated in their first practice together during WNBA All-Star Weekend in Phoenix, Arizona.

Clark and Reese have been rivals since the 2023 NCAA Championship between the Iowa Hawkeyes and the LSU Tigers. Their rivalry intensified the moment they joined the WNBA. But the two stars have never played together on the same team before. That will change on Saturday during the WNBA All-Star game.

During Friday's practice, Clark and Reese participated in a friendly half-court shot competition. Clark went first and missed her attempt wide-left, bouncing off the backboard.

Reese went immediately after Clark and banked in her shot, winning the contest.

The rest of the All-Stars and the fans sitting courtside cheered for Reese after she hit her shot, and Reese celebrated by giving her teammates high-fives.

Clark and the Fever have gone head-to-head with Reese and the Sky three times this season. The Fever took the first two battles, but the Sky won the most recent one. Two of the three games were decided by one point.
