Caitlin Clark Reveals True Feelings About Teaming Up With Angel Reese

There may not be a duo across any other sport that is drawing as much attention as Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese are.

The two WNBA rookies who were taken with the No. 1 and 7 picks, respectively, by the Indiana Fever and the Chicago Sky, have both already established themselves as the new faces of the league. Their college rivalry has carried over into the WNBA, and seemingly every time they play against one another, viewership records are broken.

While most of their careers we have seen them be pitted up against one another, that will change Saturday. For one game, Clark and Reese will go from having the biggest rivalry in sports to being teammates. Despite the fact that they are rookies, they were each among the top vote-getters for the WNBA All-Star game. They will have a chance to take on Team USA on Saturday before they head to Paris for the Olympics.

To go from major rivals, whether they admit it or not, to teammates has to be quite the change. The media was eager to find out from Clark what it was like.

When asked about teaming up with Reese, Clark said she thinks it will be "fun".

"Yeah it's gonna be fun I think," Clark told the media ahead of Saturday's game. "Obviously as two rookies getting to share this experience for the first time...it's super rare to be here as a rookie. And then to have two of us here I think...It's just really great overall. I think obviously, the fans are going to be very excited about it but I'm excited to share the court honestly with everybody."

The game is set to take place at the Footprint Center in Phoenix, Arizona at 5:30 PT or 8:30 ET. While ESPN doesn't have any odds for the game, it is worth noting that the WNBA All-Stars got the best of Team USA in 2021, winning by a score of 93-85.

As for Reese and Clark, they are the two players headlining the Rookie of the Year race, with Clark still being viewed as the favorite by oddsmakers.
