The Maine Association of Realtors has partnered with Penquis to launch 'Community Action Days.' Their first activity was a clean-up event at Veazie Village Senior Living Facility.
The residents, including Margaret Colman, have frequently highlighted the need for such clean-ups.
Carmen McPhail, the Association's president, emphasized the Realtors' identity as integral community members. She restated their goal to manage property and improve the community as a whole.
The clean-up in Veazie marks the first of three Community Action Days. Future plans include events in Rockland on October 2nd and Lewiston on October 17th as part of their community enhancement efforts.
