CARTHAGE, Mo. - The Pitt State Football Team continues their offseason recruitment. The Gorillas picked up a local commitment from Carthage. Trevor Meadows announced on his social media platforms that he is committed to play football at the next level for Pittsburg State University.

The Carthage defensive lineman comes off a season where he was 2nd team All-COC Defense. "Since Day 1," said Meadows, "I started talking to Everett and Coach Nutt. They've shown me love, they always keep a hold of me, call, text me. It's just a program that wins, they're one to compete for national championships and I want to be a part of it."
