    Best Virginia to face Brotherly Love in first round of TBT Pittsburgh Regional

    The Basketball Tournament (TBT) revealed its bracket for this summer’s $1 million winner-take-all tournament Wednesday, and Best Virginia’s first-round matchup is set.

    The third-seeded WVU alumni team will face No. 6 Brotherly Love in the first round of TBT’s Pittsburgh Regional July 20 at 3 p.m. ET at Petersen Events Center in Pittsburgh.

    Brotherly Love is a summer basketball team derived from the Brotherly Love Pro-Am League in Philadelphia, which “works to create equity, opportunity and lasting camaraderie by cultivating a network of professional athletes, centering both fitness and wellness to improve the physical, financial and mental health of communities in Philadelphia,” according to the team’s bio.

    Former WVU guard Chase Harler leads Best Virginia as its GM and head coach for the first time. Best Virginia’s unofficial roster can be found here .

    The winner of the Best Virginia-Brotherly Love game will take on the winner of No. 2 Zoo Crew vs. No. 7 Million $ Worth of Game in the second round on Monday, July 22.

    The Pittsburgh Regional Championship is scheduled for Wednesday, July 24 at 7:00 p.m. ET. The winner of the regional will face the champion of the Butler Regional in the quarterfinal round on July 29 or 30.
