Steelers' Russell Wilson Gets Huge Vote of Confidence From Pro Bowl Teammate

Russell Wilson had a solid season for the Denver Broncos in 2023-2024, but it did not translate to a playoff season for coach Sean Payton's team.

The stakes will be higher in Pittsburgh for the former Wisconsin Badger and Seattle Seahawks legend.

Recently, Wilson got a strong vote of confidence from a six-time Pro Bowl Steelers teammate who plays along the defensive line.

Cam Heyward spoke to talk show host Jim Rome and shared the most encouragement trait he's noticed in Wilson so far.

"The thing I love the most is just how detailed he is throughout the day," Heyward said to Rome . "When he steps in the building, there's no shortage of, you know, doing the little things and doing the extra things whether it's spending the extra time with your receivers, going over film work, continuing to just keep learning, it seems like he's just a student of the game.

"Excited to have him, and I think him and Justin (Fields) are going to provide a really good punch in our QB room."
