Allegheny County police said crews were called to the 4900 block of Kincaid Street at around 11 a.m. for a woman who was assaulted during a domestic dispute and an armed man.

Police said the man, 20, fired several shots at responding officers.

Channel 11 learned a Pittsburgh police officer fired a shot the suspect in the leg. The suspect then ran down toward Rosetta Street, according to witnesses.

One person was taken to the hospital from the scene. He is listed in stable condition.

Allegheny County Detectives have initiated an investigation. Upon completion, the investigation will be turned over to the district attorney’s office for review.
