Family member of boy found on North Side comes forward

Pittsburgh Police provided this "FINAL UPDATE": Upon investigation, Pittsburgh Police believe this incident to be accidental as a family member left for work early in the morning and the child wandered out of the house.

UPDATE: Pittsburgh Police say a family member of the child has been found. More information may be made if it becomes available.

Pittsburgh Police are looking for the parents or guardians of a little boy found on the North Side.

Police say he was found Monday Morning at Termon Avenue and Wealth Street by dog walkers.

The boy is current in the “safe care” of officers who have taken him to a hospital to be evaluated.

Police say he is not reported missing. Anyone with any information is asked to call 911.
