Steelers re-sign OLB Markus Golden

( WJET/WFXP )– The Steelers have resigned veteran outside linebacker Markus Golden following two players at the position suffering injuries.

Steelers announced the signing on social media Thursday morning with Golden returning to the team on a one-year deal.

Entering his tenth season in the league, Golden served as a key depth player and special teamer for the Steelers last year racking up 20 tackles, 14 solo, four sacks, six tackles for a loss, one pass defensed and one fumble recovery.

Both OLBs David Perales and Kyron Johnson suffered injuries in practice on Wednesday with Perales needing to be carted off.
