WOODSIDE, Queens (PIX11) — A community is rallying to get a beloved bodega cat back to the counter where he belongs.

The 18-year-old senior cat named “Antonio” went missing from his perch at the K-Glen Deli Sari Sari store in Woodside on Aug. 2.

Now, residents are taking to the streets and social media to spread the word about finding Antonio. A surveillance video posted to the page @helpusfindantonio appears to show a man luring the cat then grabbing him on the night of Aug. 2.

A cash reward is being offered for Antonio’s safe return with no questions asked, according to one of the missing posters. Store owners say the senior cat needs medication and they won’t give up until he’s found.
