THE BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) — A man is accused of fatally stabbing a subway rider during a gang-related beef on a Bronx train Saturday, according to police and sources.

Shane Cunnison, 37, allegedly stabbed 33-year-old Nigel Dumas after the two made eye contact aboard the No. 2 train at the East 149th Street subway station at around 3:20 p.m., according to the NYPD and sources. The victim and the suspect appeared to be from rival gangs, sources said.

Dumas was stabbed twice in the chest with a knife and died at the hospital, police said.

Cunnison was arrested the same day and charged with manslaughter and assault, according to court records. His arraignment was pending Monday.
