Plainfield, Conn./WTIC Radio - A man is under arrest in connection with a stabbing this month at a gas station in Plainfield.

It was last Thursday afternoon that police were dispatched to the Morgan Trucking facility on Moosup Road in the Wauregan section of town on a report a man had been stabbed.

He was treated at the scene and then transported to Backus Hospital.

The incident originated at a Putnam Road Gulf station.

That's where police say Francisco Ramon Martinez Suro, 33, of Norwich was involved in an altercation with the victim.

Martinez Suro turned himself in on the active warrant Tuesday.

He faces charges of assault, reckless endangerment and breach of peace.

Martinez Suro is being held on bond pending an August 5th court date in Danielson.
