    Red, White & Moo parade and festival in Plainview

    LUBBOCK, Texas — The Red, White & Moo parade was held in Plainview on Thursday, July 4.

    The parade started at the Railroad Depot and headed south down Ashe Street, turned east at 6th Street and ended at Fire Station #1.

    The event has been held for over ten years and is celebrated throughout the county for National Dairy Month in June.

    Fireworks, music and fun: South Plains guide to 4th of July events

    Following the parade was Red, White & Moo Milk Fest. The festival included music, bouncy houses, a mobile dairy classroom, a petting zoo, face painting, foam bubbles, food trucks and free ice cream, milk and cheese.

    The event is organized by the Red, White & Moo Committee, consisting of local dairies including Grand View Dairy, Fox Dairy, Legacy Farms, Dairy Fountain and Descanso Dairy.
