Troy to hold Plein Air Artist event July 13
TROY—Troy Main Street Inc., announce The Plein Air Artist event on Saturday, July 13, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in downtown Troy. Throughout the day, these talented artists will be spread across the downtown area, capturing the essence of our stunning historic buildings, vibrant flowers, and other captivating scenes that spark their creativity. Afternoon visitors will have the chance to purchase their remarkable artwork.
Solistic to play at Hayner
TROY — A local Hayner Cultural Center Lucky Lemonade Series will host Solistic on Tuesday, July 16, at 7:30 p.m. This wildly creative band hails from Dayton, Ohio and includes Khrys Blank and Eric Reith on percussion, Brad Denson on bass, Josh Johnson on drums, Eric Henry on guitar and Damien Dennis on keys. They call themselves a “multi-genre collective” of musicians from a variety of backgrounds and influences producing their own version of “funky original rock.” The band is set to perform a hybrid of rock to jazz to somewhere in bluesland. It will be a lucky night at the Hayner with this percussion-led soulful sound.
