Home Talent League: Fort Atkinson knockouts Utica in Southeast Section semifinal
The Utica Association lost to the Fort Atkinson Generals 5-3 in a Home Talent Sunday League Southeast Section semifinal on Sunday, Aug. 4, in Cambridge. Fort Atkinson scored three runs in the top of the first inning and never trailed. Utica (11-4) entered the contest as the winner of the Southeast South Division after going 11-3 in section games. Fort Atkinson (10-5) played as a wild card team after tying for second in the North Division. The Generals advance to take on Evansville in the Southeast Section championship game on Sunday, Aug. 11.

Hamilton College is seeking applications for the position of Head Coach of Women’s Tennis and Instructor/Assistant Professor of Physical Education. Responsibilities of this full-time faculty position include overseeing all aspects of the women’s tennis program, including coaching, recruitment, scheduling, budget and roster management, equipment purchasing and maintenance, and travel planning. In addition to coaching, responsibilities also include teaching classes in the Physical Education program and completing administrative responsibilities as assigned by the Athletic Director. This faculty position requires institutional service after the first year.
