Harris almost doubles Biden’s lead on Trump in New York: Poll
Vice President Harris has nearly doubled President Biden’s lead over former President Trump in New York since launching her campaign last month, according to a new poll. The new Siena College poll found Harris has a 14-point lead over the former president with 53 percent of support among New York voters, while Trump trails with 39 percent of support from his home state. Harris’s lead is up from Biden’s 8-point margin over Trump when the poll was taken in late June.
Herkimer College Looking for 'Makers of the Mohawk Valley' for Upcoming Exhibit
HERKIMER, N.Y. -- Herkimer College will soon showcase a gallery featuring makers in the Mohawk Valley. The show, which is titled Makers of the Mohawk Valley, begins on Aug. 30 and will feature art and other finely crafted objects produced by individuals aged 18 and older who live or work in the Mohawk Valley.

Fulton County officials say they’re taking the storm threat seriously. “It's shifted a little bit west, yesterday. It seems to create a little more problems for the immediate area. HERKIMER — A recently enacted law that bans camping and sleeping in Herkimer village parks has been met with mixed reaction. The Herkimer Village Board met on July 31, where village officials expressed the growing concern over homeless encampments and the public safety issues surrounding them. The five-member board passed Local Law No. 6 of 2024: Prohibiting Camping or Sleeping in Village Parks unanimously.

CLINTON — Hamilton College has announced the appointment of Marisa Sanchez Benincasa as vice president for communications and marketing. Benincasa currently serves as executive director of institute affairs at the Arizona State University (ASU) Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts.
