1 person killed in shooting inside Dixie Highway business, Louisville police say
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- An attempted robbery inside a business on Dixie Highway in Louisville's Valley Station turned deadly Saturday morning. LMPD spokesperson Dwight Mitchell said police responded to a report of a shooting at a business in the 8800 block of Dixie Highway at 11:23 a.m. Once police responded on scene at Game X Change, they found two males who had been shot. Police didn't release the ages of the victims.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - The Louisville man who was acquitted in 2013 for his stepbrother’s murder is now heading to prison on federal gun charges. Josh Young eventually admitted in a letter from jail to the 2011 murder of his step-brother, but he couldn’t escape these new charges and pleaded guilty on Thursday. Young pleaded guilty to one count of possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, in exchange for that plea deal he will serve 63 months in prison, so a little over five years.
New Albany police officer’s shooter from Indiana receives 60-year prison sentence

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - The family of a 19-year-old boy killed in an apartment shooting Tuesday night is asking for information that could help lead to an arrest. Officers arrived to an apartment complex on Bellamy Place in the Algonquin neighborhood just after midnight Tuesday and found Tayshawn Thomas had been shot inside one of the units.
