Sandusky County has assorted July Fourth celebrations
Sandusky County communities have Independence Day activities planned in the first week of July. Celebrations start in Woodville with the 82nd annual July Fourth Extravaganza at Trail Marker Park Wednesday through Saturday. The midway opens Wednesday at 5 p.m. On Thursday, a car show is set for 5-8 p.m. and a dance party at 6 p.m. at the front stage. Friday will include a 5k race at 7 p.m. and other evening entertainment.
The Wolcott Keeper’s House hosts fish fry, Civil War music
The public is invited to visit the Wolcott Keeper’s House on Saturday, July 13, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. to enjoy perch served by the Port Clinton Rotary Perch Wagon and American Civil War era music provided by balladeers Steve and Lisa Ball. In partnership with the Port Clinton Rotary Club, the Society invites the public to the annual Perch Wagon event. Both the Wolcott Keeper’s House and Annex will be open for tours.
