Eagles place at Holy Cow meet

Several Chequamegon athletes placed at the Holy Cow track and field meet at Stratford High School on April 15.

GIRLS

Chequamegon senior Autumn Michalski won the girls 800 meter run with a time of 2:18.83, and won the 1,600 meter run with a time of 5:08.56. In a less frequent sprinting appearance, Michalski also ran the 400 meter dash, where she placed second at 1:01.06, behind Meredith Richter of Medford Area Schools with 59.95.

Other Chequamegon athlete performances included:

Abigail Humphrey won the girls 3,200 meter run with 14:39.66.

Audrina Damrow was fifth in the girls 100 meter hurdles with a time of 22.70.

Clare Yunk was fifth in the girls 300 meter hurdles with 1:00.33.

Chequamegon was fourth in the 4x100 meter relay with a time of 1:00.72. The runners were Ella Weinberger, Tatyanna Tesmer, Audrina Damrow and Carla Akriba-Rodriguez.

Chequamegon finished fifth in the 4x200 meter relay with 2:09.94. The runners were Abigail Humphrey, Tatyanna Tesmer, Clare Yunk and Mallory Smith.

Chequamegon was third in the 4x400 meter relay with 5:48.37. The runners were Tatyanna Tesmer, Clare Yunk, Carla Akriba-Rodriguez and Kalaniva Salvador.

Chequamegon was fourth in the girls 4x800 meter relay with 15:59.76. The runners included Carla Akriba-Rodriguez, Leelan Carroll, Abigail Humphrey and Kalaniva Salvador.

Ella Weinberger was fourth in the high jump with a 4-00. Teammate Tatyanna Tesmer was sixth with a 3-06.

Clare Yunk was eighth in the pole vault with a 7-00 jump.

Mallory Smith was seventh in the triple jump with 25-08.50. Smith was also ninth in the girls long jump with 12-05. Teammate Ella Weinberger was 13th with 10-11.75.

Kalaniva Salvador was 14th in the discus throw with 52-05. Salvador was also 13th in the shot put with 19-00.

BOYS

Robert Schienebeck won the 300 meter hurdles with a time of 44.11. Teammates RJ Salvador and Winter Edberg finished ninth and 10th.

Chequamegon swept the first three spots in the boys discus throw starting with AJ Morgan in first with a throw of 130-11. Teammate Greg Morgan was second with 128-09, and Jeremiah Miguel was third with 105-04. Another Chequamegon teammate, Ian Schloer, placed 12th.

Jarrett Heckendorf was second in the 400 meter dash with 55.18. Teammates Noah Siegmann and Harrison Graceffa finished 11th and 12th.

Robert Schienebeck was second in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 17.82. Teammate RJ Salvador was third with 20.40, and Winter Edberg was fifth with 20.91.

Jayden Oscar was second in the 3,200 meter run with 11:44.82. Teammate Zac Roberts was fifth with 12:09.54.

AJ Morgan was second in the shot put with 44-06.50. Teammate Greg Morgan was fourth with 39-00. Teammates Ian Schloer and Evan Carlson were 14th and 15th.

Judah Johnson was seventh in the 100 meter dash with 12.54. Teammates Frank Kief and Harrison Graceffa were 11th and 12th.

Winter Edberg tied for fifth in the pole vault with a 9-06. Teammate Frank Kief was sixth with 9-00.

Jarrett Heckendorf was sixth in the high jump with 5-00.

Judah Johnson was eighth in the long jump with 16-03.50. Teammates Jackson Ernst and Noah Siegmann were 11th and 12th.

RJ Salvador was eighth in the triple jump with 32-01.75. Teammates Zac Roberts and Jayden Oscar were 11th and 12th.

Chequamegon placed third in the 4x100 meter relay with 50.10. The runners were Jackson Ernst, Harland Kasowicz, Judah Johnson and RJ Salvador.

Chequamegon placed third in the 4x200 meter relay with 1:44.57. The runners were Jackson Ernst, Harland Kasowicz, Judah Johnson and Jeremiah Miguel.

Chequamegon was fourth in the 4x400 meter relay with 4:18.24. The runners were Jackson Ernst, Jarrett Heckendorf, Cooper Michalski and Robert Schienebeck.

Chequamegon placed third in the 4x800 meter relay with a time of 10:02.91. The runners were Austin Hoffman, Zac Roberts, Winter Edberg and Jayden Oscar.

Cooper Michalski was seventh in the 1,600 meter run with 5:29.22. Teammate Austin Hoffman was ninth with 5:38.21.

Austin Hoffman was 10th in the 800 meter run with 2:33.77.

Chequamegon runners Harland Kasowicz, Noah Siegmann and Jeremiah Miguel finished ninth, 10th and 11th in the 200 meter dash.
