May 1: Sweet and sour meatballs, brown rice, tomato and cucumber salad, Asian blend vegetables, pineapple.
May 2: Lasagna, romaine side salad w/cucumbers, tomato wedges, ranch dressing, peaches.
May 6: Italian meatballs with marinara on penne pasta, Italian blend vegetables, fruit.
May 8: Beef chili, cornbread, Brussels sprouts, fruit.
May 9: Mothers Day Meal — Cod piccata, rice pilaf, diced carrots, pound cake w/whipped cream and strawberry sauce, fruit.
May 13: Turkey tetrazzini, tomato and cucumber salad, green beans, fruit.
May 15: Barbecue chicken, baked beans, coleslaw, whole-wheat roll with butter.
May 16: Turkey meatloaf, mashed potatoes w/gravy, steamed beets, whole-wheat roll with butter, fruit.
May 20: chicken chop suey on brown rice, Asian blend vegetables, fruit.
May 22: Lemon baked chicken w/gravy, black beans and corn salad, steamed carrots, whole-wheat roll with butter, peaches.
May 23: Birthday Meal — Herb pork loin with gravy, baked potatoes, California blend vegetables, pineapple upside-down cake.
May 27: Closed — Memorial Day
May 29: Barbecue pork loin, black beans w/rice, California blend vegetables, pineapple.
May 30: Memorial Day Meal — Cheeseburger on a bun w/lettuce, tomato, red onion and dill pickles, red potato salad, cantaloupe.
The meals are for persons aged 60 and over regardless of income or assets. There is a $3-to-$5 suggested donation for a meal.
Reservations and cancellations are required by 1 p.m. the serving day before the meal by calling the meal site or the Aging Unit office at 1-888-682-7672. The Butternut meal site number is 715-769-9417. The Glidden meal site number is 715-682-4414 ext. 0.
