    MAY 18• 43rd annual Woodtick Races, 1 p.m., Oxbo Resort, 6275N Oxbo Drive, Park Falls. Live music, food. Registration starts at 11 a.m.

    • Phillips Moose Lodge #2661 Bingo, 6 p.m. at Burgers Bar & Grill, 784 N. Lake Ave., Phillips.

    MAY 19• Chequamegon Middle/High School Instrumental Pops Concert, 2 p.m., High School Gymnasium, 300 9th St. N., Park Falls.

    MAY 21• Prevail Bank-Phillips free community shred day event for paper documents from 1-4 p.m. at 204 N. Avon Ave. The bank will donate $1 for each pound of paper shredded to Embrace, Inc. A $5 per box donation is encouraged for more than three boxes.

    MAY 22• Grief Support Group, 2-3:30 p.m., third floor board room of the Park Falls Public Library, 121 4th Ave. N. Informal group meets on the last Wednesday of the month.

    MAY 24• Brat/Burger and Rummage Bag Sale, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Trinity Lutheran Church, W4594 U.S. 8, Prentice.

    MAY 25• Minocqua Station II Firefighters pancake breakfast, 8 to 11 a.m., at the station, 8528 N. Bo-di-Lac Drive, Minocqua.

    • Spring Fling Arts & Crafts Fair, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Main Street, Winter. Food, raffles, rhubarb baking contest, pie auction/raffle, classic car show, pancake breakfast at Zion Lutheran.

    MAY 26• Spirit Historical Society Memorial Day Weekend Barn Dance, 7 p.m. to midnight at the Darrel and Luann Lind Farm, N1169 German Settlement Road, Spirit. Basket and craft raffles. Karl Lind will DJ, and Gary Edinger will teach square dancing. Entry for a donation with proceeds going to support finishing the Spirit machine shed.
