Driver’s Profile: Wyatt Howard
Wyatt Howard is a 28-year-old driver from Price. Howard drives the number 72w car and races in the IMCA Modified and Dirt Late Model Classes. He has been around racing his entire life and has been racing at the level for the last 14 years. His father Harvey Howard started racing dirt cars after an unfortunate motorcycle accident that had left him paralyzed. He raced late models and modifieds throughout the 90s and 2000s, until he retired in 2010. He is now right by his son’s side, as they continue to chase the dream.

Carbon and Emery Compete at Wave Pool
The Castle Valley Barracudas played host to the San Rafael Stingrays on Tuesday for their second meeting in three weeks. With the events staring off in the 10&U Mixed 100 Yard Medley Relay, the team of Jaycee Frandsen, Eliza Irvine, Luke Grant and Bringham Bradford received the win with a time of 1:30.84. In the 11-12 200 Mixed Medley Relay, Genevieve Halk, Carson Bower, Susannah Irvine and Maeve Bradford placed first in their group with a time of 2:41.29. Finishing the Mixed Relays, in the 13-18 200 Yard Medley Relay, Mason Engar, Cohen Sullivan, Logan Kranendonk and Asher Thayne brought home the gold with a time of 2:19.86.
Kaden Donathan Win Saddle at Silver State Rodeo
Kaden Donathan has been a member of the Carbon Dinos Rodeo Team for three years and is entering his senior year in the 2024-25 season. Over the weekend, he qualified to compete in the Silver State International Rodeo in Winnemucca, Nevada. Donathan competed in the Steer Wrestling, where he had a fantastic weekend.
