"Game on" for Herd in EA Sports College Football '25
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -Football is not often the focus in the Henderson Center on Marshall’s campus but it was on Tuesday night. The Herd football players had a launch party for the release of the new EA Sports College Football ‘25 game at the arena and to say it was entertaining would be an understatement.

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall Baseball catcher Owen Ayers was selected in 19th round with the 572nd overall of the 2024 MLB Draft on Tuesday by the Chicago Cubs. "I am very excited for Owen as he gets to chase his baseball dream at the next level." Herd Baseball Head Coach Greg Beals said. Football Announces Opener Against Bulldogs
Marshall Football is set to face the dominant Power Five Georgia Bulldogs in the 2025 season opener, Marshall Athletics announced on July 10. Georgia has been known for many years as one of the most prominent powerhouses in Division I football. Herd ace hosts baseball camp in hometown
LOUISA, Ky. (WSAZ) - In baseball terms, the first year of the Bryce Blevins camp was equivalent to throwing a no-hitter. Over 100 kids ranging from Hurricane, WV to various locations in the Commonwealth showed up Tuesday to learn from the Marshall pitcher. Blevins won the Sun Belt pitcher of the week four times last season for the Herd and WSAZ Sports stopped by and visited with the Marshall star in his hometown.

Bryan Myers of Wheeling and Ian Patrick of Huntington tied for the lead in stroke play on the opening day of play in the Championship Division at the 2024 West Virginia Senior Amateur Championship, conducted by the West Virginia Golf Association (WVGA), at Stonewall Resort.
