    Police: Arrest made after teen shot in the head at Rock Hill McDonald’s

    ROCK HILL, S.C. ( QUEEN CITY NEWS ) — A suspect has been arrested after a teenager was shot in the head outside a Rock Hill McDonald’s, Rock Hill Police Department said on Monday.

    Around 6:30 p.m. Sunday, police responded to the McDonald’s on 115 South Cherry Road in regards to a shooting.

    When officers arrived, they located an 18-year-old male with a gunshot wound to his head. The victim was transported by EMS to Piedmont Medical Center. Medical officials say the victim is on life-sustaining medical care.

    The preliminary investigation revealed the victim was talking to subjects in a parked vehicle when one of the subjects shot the victim before fleeing. The suspect was arrested on Monday, Rock Hill PD confirmed. Chester resident Jameson Dunham, 20, was arrested after a warrant was served for accessory after the fact. No details have been given on the other suspects other than that officers were looking for a grey midsize SUV.

    The Rock Hill Police Department Criminal Investigations Division is investigating the incident.
