Lower temperatures but lingering rain chances for Labor Day weekend

(PINPOINT WEATHER) — Good morning and happy Saturday to you all! Autumn is on the way with meteorological fall starting tomorrow!

We have a 30% chance for a stray shower or thunderstorm for our Saturday with highs being in the low 90s and lows being in the low 70s. The rain will still be sticking around throughout the first days of the work week with temperatures dropping as well once we get into the swing of things.

As said before, at the start of the week, we still have chances for more rain but Sunday is the day we are most focused on. Storms could start rolling in during the late afternoon/early evening with highs being in the upper 80s/low 90s and lows being in the low 70s.

Monday has a chance of storms as well but it’s not as prominent as Sunday. For the rest of the work week, we still have chances for showers that’ll move in Wednesday night so this week will indeed be a wet one, but the chances are low! The average for the week will be near 80.

    I’m Zariah Clay, Meteorological Intern.

Today: Cloudy with sun later. High: 90, Low: 71

Sunday: Partly Cloudy. High: 90, Low: 71

Monday: Sunshine late. High: 88, Low: 67
