Mets infielder José Iglesias stunned fans with a postgame musical performance on Friday night at Citi Field.

Following a 7-2 win over the Astros, Iglesias performed his new single "OMG," released on Friday, in front of the home crowd.

Midway through the performance, his teammates joined him to celebrate on the infield diamond.

They received an early preview of the song, and it's become the Mets' theme song as they've gone on a 16-4 run over their last 20 games dating back to June 3.

New York (40-39) climbed above .500 for the first time since May 2 with its win over Houston, which entered as the hottest team in baseball.

"The guys loved it and I'm very to make this song," he told SNY's Steve Gelbs before its official release. ( h/t MLB.com )

"Havent been this choked up as a Mets fan since Wilmer tugged his jersey. So happy for Candelita!" wrote one fan.

"Omg I love this #LGM ," added an commenter.

"He's a pop star," declared another.

"That’s gonna be a fantastic single," predicted one more.

If his hit rate in music is as high as it is at the plate this season, "OMG" will soon sweep the nation.
