Former site of Gettysburg Foundry being redeveloped with nearly $2.4 million in state dollars
23 July 2024- Today, Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) Secretary Rick Siger announced 12 new projects totaling more than $50 million were approved through the Commonwealth Financing Authority (CFA). Over $48 million of the funding was awarded today through the Business in Our Sites (BOS) program, which provides financial assistance for the preparation of sites located within Pennsylvania for future development.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at Christ Lutheran Church, 30 Chambersburg St. Gettysburg, PA. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday, July 26th from 5:00-7:00 PM and on Saturday from 9:00-10:30 AM. Nina Fegan 1947-2024
Nina Fegan, 77, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away on July 21, 2024 at her home. Born May 10, 1947, she was a daughter of the late James E. Fegan, Sr. and Margaret Eckels Fegan. Nina was a 1965 graduate of CASHS. She graduated from St. Joseph’s Nursing School in Lancaster, PA as a Registered Nurse. Nina served as a Sister of St. Joseph’s for 15 years in the Philadelphia area. She was employed as an RN several places in Philadelphia including St. Mary’s Nursing Home and Moss Rehabilitation until her retirement in 2017. She enjoyed puzzles, reading and vacationing in Cape May, NJ.
