Fare & Fellow , a Triangle-based coffee shop, plans to open a new location at the recently built Raleigh Iron Works development early next year.

State of play: Raleigh Iron Works, one of the largest new live-work-and-play developments in the Triangle, has landed several prominent tenants since opening last year, including Raleigh chef Scott Crawford's Brodeto , the entertainment and dining space Jaguar Bolera and an office from Swiss watchmaker Audemars Piguet .

Driving the news: Founded by Raleigh resident Lindsay Grescock, this will be Fare & Fellow's first location in the city.

    • It has an existing location in Research Triangle Park and another being built in the N.C. Mutual tower in downtown Durham, which is expected to open later this summer.

What to expect: In addition to serving coffee and pastries from Union Special, Fare & Fellow will offer sandwiches and small meals.
