Seaboard Station , one of the largest mixed-use developments under construction in downtown Raleigh, has added three more tenants.
Why it matters: Washington, D.C.-based developer Hoffman & Associates is one of several developers significantly transforming the Peace Street corridor north of downtown, turning it from a once quiet street into an area with hundreds of apartment units, shopping and dining options and a hotel .
The latest: The newest tenants announced at Seaboard include:
- Club Pilates , a Pilates-focused gym that will open a 2,150-square-foot location later this year. It will be the gym's 12th location in the Triangle.
- Tous Les Jours , a Korean-French bakery chain that has locations in Cary and Charlotte. Its Seaboard location is expected to open next spring.
- Boatman Spirits Company, a new spirits distillery founded by a Raleigh-based group. It will lease a 7,000-square-foot space and plans to open next spring.
Zoom in: Boatman plans to make its own whiskey, brandy, vodka and gin at the Seaboard location to go along with a cocktail bar and kitchen serving Mediterranean-inspired food.
- The team running Boatman is made up of owner George Ghneim and managing partners Geremy Prichard, Zack Thomas (formerly of Crawford & Son and the Crunkleton) and Aaron Lambert (previously general manager of Whiskey Kitchen), according to Raleigh Magazine .
