Try quick work of firefighters saved two different Sacramento County homes from devastation Saturday evening in Rancho Cordova. Just before 6 p.m. Saturday evening, the 911 call center received calls for a fire that had broken out between two homes on the 10,000 block of Paiute Way in Rancho Cordova.
