Sip Stunning Sonoma Wine Near Sunny Palm Springs at This Special Charity Dinner

A micro Sonoma winery and the brand responsible for the highest selling bottle ever at auction ($1,000,000!) are joining forces to take over the desert on Sunday, March 3rd from 5pm to 9pm at the Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa in Rancho Mirage, CA. Innumero Wines & The Setting Wines are showing up and showing out, bringing their complementary wine styles together to benefit Childhelp® Indian Wells Chapter, in tandem with Winewomen PSP . Rancho Las Palmas' Executive Chef Simon Warren constructed the food menu (available below) to pair perfectly with Chardonnay & Cabernet from the Setting, and two single-vineyard Pinot Noirs from Innumero.

Winewomen PSP is a charitable nonprofit organization dedicated to the responsible enjoyment of wine through education, discovery and activities that support local charities in the Coachella Valley. Since 2008 women and men members and guests enjoy new experiences among interesting people that heighten their wine knowledge while benefiting local charities through fun-raising gatherings. Winewomen PSP Wine Dinners are held monthly at different venues throughout Coachella Valley, featuring different wineries, and benefiting a different charity each month.

The Setting Wines is a collection of luxury wines created by three friends: Jeff Cova, Noah McMahon and famed winemaker, Jesse Katz. Driven by their philanthropic backgrounds, Jeff and Noah partnered with Jesse to establish The Setting Wines in 2014, a brand that seeks to encourage the appreciation of the simple moments in life, embrace the transformative power of shared experiences and give back in meaningful ways. Sourcing fruit from some of the most prestigious vineyards throughout Napa and Sonoma Valleys, The Setting produces wines that express a delicate balance between purity of fruit and the unique nuances of each site. These are wines created to bring people together to experience joy in everyday occasions, which makes for the perfect setting.

Innumero Wines was founded by Brian & Sheree Thornsberry, who discovered their passion for wine and the specialness of the Northern California appellations during a 2010 visit to Sonoma and Napa Valleys. A spark was ignited. Their mutual appreciation for the craft of winemaking and the expression of terroir was born. Over the next decade, they pursued their interest in all-things-wine. Satiating their thirst for understanding what made for exceptional wine just that...exceptional. With visits to France, Spain, Northern and Southern Italy, Greece, Portugal, and South Africa adding pins to their “grand adventure in wine” map, they honed their palettes on a spectrum of grapes and winemaker’s expressions of them. They found a common thread endured. Upon returning and reflecting on their latest foray, they would inevitably return to the same conclusion that nothing quite affected them like the wines of Northern California. Gradually, an idea took root—that living in St. Louis, Missouri was much too far from the fountain of their passion and they decided to make California a permanent place to reside—first to Calistoga part-time, then to Napa, finally settling in Santa Rosa.
